Crafted with high-quality materials and designed to comply with current utmost stringent EU standards, this cable ensures a dependable and secure charging experience with every use.

What is a Type 2 to Type 2 Charging Cable?

A Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable is used for charging of electric vehicles (EVs) at public or home EV chargers. These EV chargers are typically Alternating Current (AC) chargers with power range of 7kw to 22kw and do not have cable tethered to the charging station end. This charging cable is especially useful for areas including Europe, where the Type 2 chargers dominate. Other dominant Type 2 chargers in geographical areas of Southeast Asia and Middle East also see use of this product. It acts as a connector, allowing users to charge at different charging stations, whether on the go or at home.

How Does it Work?

The cable’s Type 2 male plug connects to the charging station, while the female plug is connected to the vehicle. The set up ensures optimal electric power delivery and communication between the station and the EV. This supports safe charging with appropriate power levels and the ability to identify any issues during the process.
