Please check the car’s charging inlet to see if it is Type 2 (Mennekes, 7 pins) or CCS 2 (7 pins + 2 pins). Our cable is compatible with BEV and PHEV with Type 2 and CCS charging inlets.

How to choose the right cable?

You can check the vehicle and charging station’s charging standards to determine how much kW the car can charge. 22kw is recommended as it is compatible with all vehicles and AC charging stations and can step down to 11kw and 7kw of charging in different scenarios. Length-wise, 5m is ideal for daily use at home and on the road. Whereas in some commercial settings, longer-length cables could be required. It is recommended to measure such distances prior to purchase decisions.

Can it be used for a DC rapid charge?

No. Our Type 2 Cable is designed to work with AC fast charging and should not be used for DC rapid charging. DC charging requires a different charging interface and cable.
