Upon verification for compatibility of the charging port of the EV or PHEV, the user can connect the DC connector by plugging it into the vehicle’s charging socket. Once plugged in, electromagnetic locking bolt will secure the connection, and charging will begin after communication protocol is established between the vehicle and the charging station. Once charging completes, the charging connector can be removed and placed back onto the connector holder at the charging station.
