Upon verification for compatibility of charging port of the EV or PHEV, user can connect the DC charging connector by plugging it into the vehicle’s charging socket. Once plugged in, electromagnetic locking bolt will secure the connection, and charging will begin after communication protocol is established between the vehicle and the charging station. Once charging completes, the charging connectors can be removed and placed back onto the connector holder at the charging station.
