Is Tethered Cables compatible with Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)?
Please check car’s charging inlet to see if it is NACS (5 pins), Type 2 (Mennekes, 7 pins) or CCS 2 (7 pins + 2 pins). We offer cable variants compatible with BEV and PHEV of NACS, Type 2 and CCS charging inlets. We also offer Tethered Cables of Chinese GBT and Japanese Chademo charging inlets.

Tethered Cables can be used at any AC charging station with a Type 2 socket, regardless of whether it is a public charging station or a wall box installed at a home. Typically, charging stations with Type 2 sockets exist in Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Thus, the Tethered Cables is highly versatile and compatible.
How to choose the right Tethered Cable?
Charging cable and kW variants should be determined based on end users’ geographical location. Length wise, 5m is ideal for daily use at home and on the road. Whereas in some commercial settings, longer cables could be required. It is recommended to measure out such distances prior to purchase decisions.
Can Tethered Cables be used for a DC rapid charge?
No, the Tethered Cable is designed to work with AC fast charging and should not be used for DC rapid charging. We also offer DC charging cables separately.
